INDEPENDENT TAXICAB DRIVERS
American Taxi Dispatch, Inc.is a taxi dispatching service to independently owned and operated vehicles. American Taxi Dispatch, Inc. does not hire drivers but at the request of owner/lessor recipients of dispatch service does facilitate placements of qualified
individuals who are interested in being independent taxicab
operators, either through ownership or leasing taxis. Opportunities available in most suburban
locations of Chicago to service more than 32,000-36,000 dispatched
orders per week. All taxis are licensed in villages and most
require their own safety lane inspections of taxi vehicles. American Taxi Dispatch,
Inc. inspects taxis for general appearance, working meter
and top light, and signage according to our
guidelines and passenger comfort.
City drivers welcome - we have all the resources you need to get familiar with the suburbs. GPS available.
Qualifications:
- Verification of insurability
through Motor Vehicle Record
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have valid Illinois Drivers
License
- Must have Social Security Card
- Must speak and read English well enough
to be able to communicate properly with passengers and read and understand traffic signs for safe, informed driving
- 2 passport size current photos for IDs
- $75 for manual and map book
All documents must be originals. Copies will not be accepted.
Employment authorization, if needed.
Driver Resources:
- New drivers report to Mount Prospect
- Materials available for
customer service, map reading, radio, and computer keypad
system
- In-cab riders available for airport procedures, customer
service, and area familiarity
No appointment necessary.

Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

PHONE OPERATORS
American Taxi Dispatch, Inc. is
looking for phone operators in it's Mount Prospect
location.
We pay above minimum wage and will train.
Atmosphere is casual.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years of age (suggest 18 years)
- Must have your own transportation
- Must be familiar with computer keyboard
- Must be able to interact courteously, pleasantly and efficiently with the public
- Must be capable of sitting at phone station for extended periods and operate equipment used
- Must be able to understand and follow operator procedures and to report and refer difficulties, inquires, and complaints in an appropriate and orderly manner
- Must be able to answer questions or refer questions for answer in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner and write appropriate notes or reports when needed to preserve information for which follow up may be required
