Important Information
- All airport and downtown Chicago rides must be booked through our dispatch system. Suburban taxis—including American Taxi—cannot be hailed curbside at the airports. This ensures protection from overcharging and unauthorized operators.
- TSA recommends arriving 2 hours early for domestic flights and 3 hours for international flights. Travel times can vary greatly based on traffic, time of day, and construction. American Taxi Dispatch is not responsible for missed flights due to delays.
From the Airports
- Please order your cab before boarding your flight to Chicago by app or phone (847-255-9600).
- Once you’ve collected your luggage, track your assigned cab through the app or your tracking text.
- During peak hours, heavy traffic may delay terminal access. Due to airport security rules, vehicles cannot wait at the curb. If you’re not ready when your taxi arrives, you’ll need to request another.

- Terminal 1: Door G, middle lane
- Terminal 2: Door E, middle lane
- Terminal 3: Door G, middle lane
- Terminal 5: Door E, first lane
Midway International Airport
- Doors 2LL, middle lane
Milwaukee General Mitchell International Airport
- Pre-booking required (no taxis staged at the airport).
- Pick-up: Door 4LL, rental car building, middle lane.
- From baggage claim, exit at Door 3 to street level. Cross two lanes to the rental car doors. Inside, turn left, walk to the end, and exit. Your taxi will be waiting outside on the first floor of the garage.
